After days of not eating, drinkig excessive amounts of water, and not acting like his self I took my furbaby to Mitten Animal Clinic After testing they discovered he had two large growths in his stomach area. It was discovered his organs were being squeezed out by the growth and breaking down. A different vet did not discover this On Oct. 1st a two hour plus surgery was done to remove the 16 pound growth. The surgery was successful.Kilo received a certificate with his picture on it for neing brave during the surgery. However, upon being home for a little under four hours my Kilo let out a sigh and died. Kilo was slowly starving to death and his organs were shutting down quickly.
The entire staff at Mitten Animal Clinic are extremely professional and caring. They take time with the furbabies and take time with family members offering encouragement, sincere caring, and interest. When I get a new furbaby in the future, I will definitely be returning to Mitten Animal Hospital. Thank you so very much Dr. Sherer and staff.

I unfortunately had a situation with my cat, Sophie, in which I had to make the extremely hard decision of humane euthenasia. The decision was made at an emergency animal hospital, but I received a hand signed note from all of the staff from Mitten Animal Clinic offering their kind words and condolences.

The staff at Mitten Animal Clinic were gentle and kind to Sophie, offering outstanding care for her first bout with congestive heart failure. I always knew she was in great hands and that they would know what to do to help her. Although her second bout of congestive heart failure brought about the hard decision for euthenasia, I knew that she was given a quality life up to that point due to the staff's care and knowledge. I recommend this clinic 110%. They will treat your companion with care, and it was very easy to tell that they wanted the best for your pet.

I don't know if I will adopt another pet, but if I do, I will absolutely bring them here

We recently had our dog put to sleep at Mitten. The staff was very caring and understands what a family goes through during this time. We received from them a card along with hand-written notes from Dr. Sherer and staff for our lost.

Absolutely love this place. Won't take my animals anywhere else. They work with you with appointments and make sure the animals are all safe. One of our dogs doesn't do well in public and they make sure to schedule him right as they open so he is there alone in the lobby for minimal anxiety. Dr.Sherrer and her staff are professional and caring. The service they provide is patient focused. Dr.Sherrer took time to explain Stanleys care plan offering me various options that were affordable. The mitten team are beyond compassionate and professional. Making me feel extremely confident leaving my little guy in their care. They went above and beyond for him.
